On May 1st, over 400 Children’s Law Center supporters were treated to an evening of reflection and inspiration at the Seawell Grand Ballroom as the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center held the 2008 Champions for Children Annual Dinner & Celebration. Guests enjoyed live music by local pianist Alex Grant as during the cocktail hour. Keynote speaker, Dr. Bertice Berry, spoke of her own triumph over poverty while delighting everyone with her witty reflections about life and philanthropy. As part of the evening, the Children’s Law Center also honored Honorary Chair Diane Leede for her significant support in improving and expanding the Children’s Law Center’s therapeutic programs.
