Domestic Violence Program

A pro bono volunteer lawyer serves as a voice for a child in court proceedings and assists the court by making recommendations to ensure the child's safety and stability.

Education Program

Attorneys represent children facing expulsion, forced transfers and other forms of school pushout to ensure they receive appropriate educational opportunities.



Children's Law Center staff provide legal information and referrals on issues related to child welfare, education, guardianship and adoption.

Caregiver Advocacy Program

The Children's Law Center assists and advocates on behalf of relative and non-relative caregivers to provide safety and stability for the children in their care.

Community Education

Children's Law Center attorneys and clinical consultants train a variety of community groups on child welfare issues.
